Ken Monte was inducted into the National Roller Derby Hall of Fame in 1963. He was a pivot and team captain in the men's banked-track game, and he married fellow Hall of Famer Midge 'Toughie' Brasuhn — making them one of the earliest jointly-recognized couples in the institution.
