If you believe material on Roller Derby Legacy affects your copyright, privacy, publicity, or another right, please contact us first. Credible requests are reviewed; we ask that you contact us before commencing non-urgent proceedings.

How to submit a request

A person who believes that Content infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or another legal right should contact Roller Derby Legacy before commencing non-urgent proceedings and provide:

  • Their name and contact information
  • Identification of the protected work, person, or right
  • The Roller Derby Legacy page or asset concerned
  • The basis of the claim
  • Supporting evidence of ownership, authority, identity, or legal interest
  • The requested correction, restriction, attribution, or removal
  • A good-faith statement that the information supplied is accurate

How we review requests

We may request additional information, temporarily restrict access, consult the contributor, preserve evidence, correct attribution, add context, disable downloads, withdraw public display, or remove the material.

Submission of a request does not guarantee removal. Each request will be assessed according to applicable law, the evidence provided, privacy and safety considerations, the historical and archival context, and the rights of other affected persons.

We may act immediately where necessary to address malware, prohibited content, credible threats, court orders, serious privacy risks, or clear infringement.

Privacy, publicity, and safety concerns about people depicted — including minors, sensitive personal information, defamation or false identification, and the interests of estates or surviving family members — are handled with care and may be restricted or removed on review, independent of any copyright question.
