Identifications, birthdays, and historical claims should be backed by a reliable source — a program, photo caption, roster, newspaper, obituary, or first-hand confirmation. Cite what you can. Unsupported guesses may be rejected, and repeated unsupported submissions lower your private contribution standing.

Many skaters here have passed away and many have living families. Identify people with care and dignity, especially in remembrance contexts. Do not speculate about private matters. If you are unsure, say so rather than asserting a guess as fact.

Do not submit false information, deface records, harass other contributors, or spam the queues with low-quality guesses to inflate any count. Volume is not rewarded — verified accuracy is.

Do not coordinate reciprocal approvals, operate multiple accounts to game contribution counts, review your own or a related account's submissions, or paste identical "evidence" across accounts. Advisory abuse signals help curators spot these patterns; legitimate shared households and organisations can request a documented exemption.

Do not post private contact details, addresses, or sensitive personal information about living people. The archive never exposes contributor IP addresses, devices, or internal moderation data. See the Privacy Policy.

If you believe a verified fact is wrong, open an evidence-backed challenge — don't edit around the record. A curator will review your evidence. We preserve the full history of changes so corrections are transparent and reversible.
