Golden Era. Jerry Seltzer leads Roller Derby Enterprises after 1958. The San Francisco Bay Bombers emerge as the flagship franchise. Charlie O'Connell (HOF 1967), Ann Calvello (HOF 1968), Buddy Atkinson Sr. (HOF 1965), Ralph Valladares, Mike Gammon, and Ronnie Robinson headline the touring product. 1965 sees a 4-team playoff (Bombers, Cardenales, Chiefs, Pioneers). 1963 yearbook documents formal rosters for Bay Bombers, Westerners, Mexico City Cardenales, NY Chiefs, and Honolulu Hawaiians.
