VerifiedThe grassroots revival of roller derby in Texas in 2001 launches the modern flat-track women's game. The National Roller Derby Hall of Fame is revived in 2004 in Brooklyn, NY. The HOF continues to induct multi-class slates honoring the original-era greats and modern stewards.

2000s
2001: grassroots women's revival begins in Texas, eventually known as the flat-track movement. 2004: the National Roller Derby Hall of Fame is revived with a 12-person induction class in Brooklyn, NY. 2005 and 2006 induct the Seltzer family and several pioneers.
2010s
The HOF inducts classes in 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016. Charlie O'Connell dies February 9, 2015. Jerry Seltzer dies July 1, 2019.
2020s
Ongoing stewardship of roller derby's history. Roller Derby Legacy (operated by NoJo Enterprise Co., Ltd.) launches in 2026 as an independent third-party archive documenting the sport, its people, and the National Roller Derby Hall of Fame.
